About UsNorthwest Auto & Tire has been a leader in the automotive repair business for more than three decades. Our areas of expertise range from typical preventive maintenance, to the diagnosis and repair of complicated computer systems. We are a service driven company. We know that you can take your car anywhere for repair, but we believe that our auto repair shop is better equipped to service your car than anywhere else. Our staff participates in the most current training, and we have the latest equipment available. But more than anything else, I think what has made us so successful and kept our customers coming back year after year is the level of service My goal when I purchased Northwest Auto & Tire back in 1975 was to operate a professional, clean, well lit, and well equipped auto repair shop – where someone who wanted to make an honest living working in the auto repair field could be proud. Having been a mechanic all my life, I had seen plenty of auto repair shops that left a lot to be desired when it came to working conditions. Generally speaking, they were dirty, dimly lit and poorly equipped.
Just a word on technicians. When I started in this business, we were not called I have to admit I was very slow to accept the term “technician” when referring to a mechanic. It seemed to be an exaggeration to me. After all, no matter what they called us, we were still doing the same thing, fixing broken cars, and most likely we were going to get dirty in the process. But when I watch one of our technicians approach a vehicle in the shop today – armed with sophisticated scanners, a graphing multi-meter, a 4 channel digital storage oscilloscope, and a handful of the latest data just pulled off the internet, well, I have to adm If you have been to Northwest Auto & Tire, I think you would agree that we run a very professional business. We take great pride from the appearance on the outside to the appearance on the inside. If you have visited our auto repair shop before, I think you would have to agree that we have achieved that goal. Not only is Northwest Auto & Tire a good place to work, but it is also an even greater place to have your car repaired. If you have not visited us before, I invite you to do so. No need to make a purchase, just come by and see for yourself what we are so proud of. The coffee pot is always on. |

Northwest Auto & Tire is equipped to handle the maintenance and repair of today’s and yesterday’s vehicles. Since they started putting computers in cars in the early '80s, we started buying the latest equipment. Of course, it takes more than just equipment. It takes a staff of highly trained technicians to properly operate the equipment, interpret the results of the data gathered, and make an accurate diagnosis and repair. I could list all the different equipment we have, but it would make for some pretty boring reading. Suffice it to say, I doubt that you will find a better equipped auto repair shop within 25 miles of Northwest Auto & Tire.
