Meet Donnie Urban, Jr.

Donnie joined the team here at Northwest Auto & Tire in the spring of 2001. When interviewed he was asked if he was just looking for a summer job, or a lifelong career. He stated that he has always wanted to do what his dad did, make his living as a professional auto technician. Donnie had been working at a quick oil change place in Kenosha, WI at that time. He came here with that experience and was eager to learn much more. Over the past six years, Donnie has attended many technical seminars, covering everything from anti-locking brake systems, to the latest in emission and fuel controls found on today’s cars.  He has grown from an apprentice technician to a very sophisticated ASE Certified journeyman technician. Don's specialty is the diagnosis and repair of today’s complex on-board computer systems found on all cars and light trucks.  Most days you will find Don sleuthing out a complicated wiring problem, or updating a car's computer system with the latest program from the manufacturer.  It takes many specialty tools to work on today’s cars, and Don is trained to work with all of them. Don has honed his skills well, and has become a real asset to Northwest Auto & Tire.  We are proud of his accomplishments and consider him one of our greatest assets. Don lives with his significant other in Kenosha, WI.  In 2006 they were blessed with a brand new baby boy, Nathan.
