Meet Ray Aguayo
Ray joined the team at Northwest Auto & Tire in April 2005.Ray had just completed his courses at U.T.I. and took advanced courses in Mercedes Benz. We hired Ray as an apprentice and started him off working with scheduled maintenance work, including grease, oil and filter work, as well as transmission services and coolant flushes. Like all of our apprentices, Ray is eager to learn. In the year and half that he has been here, he has already moved up to brake and front end work. In fact, as of this writing 11/28/06), we are awaiting the arrival of the latest front end equipment from Hunter Engineering. They are the premier company in shop alignment equipment. Ray does not know it yet, (so don’t tell him) but he is going to be at the front of the class when we start training with this new equipment. He is going to become our lead front end specialist. Whenever Ray has a free moment you will find him leaning over one of the more senior technicians, learning the theory and operation of the various scopes and scanners we use everyday. Ray has started taking more advanced classes, and he is also learning through our in house training courses. We look forward to working with Ray for many years to come. I know he has what it takes to become an advanced level Automotive Technician. Ray grew up and lives in Beach Park. In his free time you will most likely find him working with his computer. |
