Meet Howard Jones

Howard joined the team here at Northwest Auto & Tire in September 2005. As the shop has continued to grow, we needed to have a full time shop foreman. Howard has filled that spot perfectly.

Howard came to us with 17 years experience as an automotive technician. He not only worked in the shop as a tech and shop foreman, but his duties also included managing the business. During the interview process we learned that Howard was looking to make a career change, if he could find the right shop. We are pleased that he found Northwest Auto & Tire to be just what he was looking for.

His role here allows Howard to use his skills as a technician and also as shop foreman. He handles a lot of the high tech drive-ability issues that have become everyday work for us now, as well as overseeing other jobs in the shop to be sure they are being completed properly and on schedule.

Howard is an ASE Certified Master Technician and also holds the prestigious “L1, Advanced Engine Performance Specialist” certificate. Howard continues his education here at Northwest Auto & Tire by attending the many classes and seminars offered here. Howard lives in Beach Park with his wife and three children. On weekends you may find him out with the kids playing ball, or heading off for a camping excursion with the family. Oh, and did I mention Golf? And Bowling?
