Meet Mariska Minkus

Mariska joined the Northwest Auto team in December 1997. Along with her pleasant personality and quick smile she brings a wealth of experience in the automotive field.

Mariska has more than 28 years of experience in the automotive repair business. She not only handles all the office duties from scheduling to bookkeeping, (including keeping track of all that stuff on Skip's desk) but she also is an invaluable asset to the technicians. She helps them locate hard to find parts, assists in procuring whatever specialty tools they need, and schedules their training classes.

Her extensive knowledge of the auto repair business along with her attention to detail is what continues to make Northwest Auto & Tire successful. Mariska has a real edge when it comes to scheduling repair work. She is able to effectively communicate with customers, eliminating the problem of mis-communication that can sometimes occur between the customer and the technician.

We are very proud to have Mariska as our general manager. We look forward to her running Northwest Auto & Tire for many years to come.

Mariska lives in Lindenhurst with her husband Reid and their son Steven. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family bird hunting, shooting clay pigeons or on the open road riding her motorcycle with her husband and friends.
